Field of Roses
I took a bit of a different path today. I woke up early and while the rest of the house was sleeping, I went to my little art room and started a new picture. Not knowing exactly what it was going to become, I started with board and gave it a palette knife layer of dark brown.
Then added some light shades of blue and white coming down from the top.
and used the palette knife, dry, to blend and scrap the colors down..
I added the pink flowers and some white accents , then called it finished.
By the time the rest of the house woke up, I was finished with my picture and coming downstairs to the kitchen for breakfast!!
One more little picture to wish you a very Happy Easter!!

I really love the process you explained using the palette knife. It created a perfect background, and the final piece is wonderful. Did you use oil or acrylic? Very cute bunnies as well.
